I had it fail under minimal strain and while I was able to save the H6 from falling to the ground, I will never subject the unit to this case again.
I don't recommend this case. Zoom should be ashamed to offer it. It's a good idea with very poor execution. There are other alternatives including the 2banger tactical bag from 5. Think about it. Other dissenters have mentioned the same problems that I've noticed but to reiterate - the dimensions are VERY imperfect leaving lots of room for water, dust, bodily fluids, and really anything to enter the case and ruin the product.
The plastic top piece is super reflective and makes the display impossible to see in sunlight. The velcro is woefully weak in half of the points of contact. It literally feels like it was made for a different model. You cannot access the battery door while in the case and it's kind of a B to get it out in a hurry - nvm all the sound of ripping velcro if you're shooting a wedding or something.
It's basically a scuff protector and nothing more. I don't know how much you paid for YOUR H6 but mine was expensive enough that this loose fitting nylon sleeve is a no-go for me. Just get a padded Amazon Basics case instead. Protects well but needs a redesign.
Recorder can fall out if it. A strap would have been nice for the price. This bag is great. It keeps the H6 in place very well and all of the XLR connections have room. Great bag for basic protection. One person found this helpful.

It keeps the light rain away from your unit and is particularly useful if you are using the four XLR inputs. It can be used when using the attached microphone modules but they will be left open to the weather. A plastic cap should be used when the microphone module is not connected to keep out dirt and moisture. Also handy to use to connect the unit to your belt once volume adjustments have been made allowing you to concentrate on mic boom placement. Report abuse. I have owned this case for several weeks now and having used my H6 for rehearsal recordings and live shows, the case not only protects, but the side velcro flaps allow easy access to controls whilst allowing tripod mounting.
With the clear plastic flap down, access to the front panel buttons is very easy while providing clear visuals of the lit display. The XY mic has a velcro cover that fits nice and snug. It should be noted, this case will not protect if your H6 drops and should tumble onto a hard floor. It may save the unit from scuffs but the lack of thick padding will not prevent cracks and breakage. Product looks like in the picture. However it is above average and not excellent.
It is worth of Rs. Price is not printed anywhere on the product and it seems seller can sell at any price and the Zoom Company is not bothered about this. As suggested somebody in his review, this should be given part of the Zoom H6 main package. This is day light robbery and I will not recommend to purchase this product at this high rate.

Great idea. Poor execution. I wanted to love this case but I'm sorry I bought it. Although it looks as if this would offer zoom pch-6, only a few minutes of actual use prove otherwise.
The top is oversized to allow one of the 2 included mics to remain attached, however, if you're using this for field recording, you would probably not want that.
